My name is Rae Anne Seat and I am happy to be teaching first grade! I earned my bachelors degree from Northern Michigan University in elementary education and my masters degree from Viterbo University. My husband Kevin and I, along my son, Zach live in Norway with our German Shepard Jax. Together we enjoy attending Zach's sporting events, camping, biking, running, golfing and eating pizza! We also LOVE TO READ and hang out with family and friends. Reading instruction is my true passion. I believe reading is the key to a successful educational experience. I am happy to be a part of building the reading foundation in all of my students.

Welcome Our First Grade Classroom
- Where we have fun!
- Where everyone is treated as an individual ~ we are all different, we look different, we learn differently, we like different things. We are all good at something. We have strengths AND we all have things we need to work on. We respect one another and learn from one another.
- WE CELEBRATE EVERYONE!
- Where feelings, social skills and life lessons are just as important as academics.
- Where learning is differentiated and engaging.
- Where moving around the classroom with one another is encouraged most of the time.
